I had a chance meeting with Jodie & James to begin this story, at the time I was hosting a black tie charity ball at Lynford Hall in aid of the St Nicholas Hospice Bury St Edmunds when Jodie introduced herself by my wife who knew her previously from her own charity work. Jodie explained that she was in the midst of planning a very unique affair, a music festival inspired wedding in the nearby village of Weeting. After outlining her vision for the day my face must have been a picture! thankfully I landed the gig of photography.
The day of the wedding…
The Sun was shining for Jodie, I remember arriving at her parents’ house which was a hive of activity, so many bridesmaids, flowers and wellie boots! When Jodie was ready she looked beautiful, a brilliant white dress and the perfect addition of flowers in the form of a bouquet and a flower crown in her hair, everyone looked very festival chic.
Jodies father and James had put months of work into the preparations for the wedding, leading up to and including the morning of. when I arrived at the venue it blew me away, a miniature Glastonbury had indeed been created. Flags fluttered in the breeze and the wedding guests made their way through them to a Tee Pee centre stage surrounded by straw bales.
The bridal party arrived together in style on a tractor and trailer. The ceremony was truly magical, and everyone enjoyed the day listening to music surrounded by food vendors and entertainers, The highlight of my day had to be photographing the couple crowd surfing into the sunset.
Here are a few images from an extraordinary day…
From start to finish on the day Todd and Alex provided a great, friendly and warm service throughout. We both felt relaxed in front of the camera and so did our guests who also couldn’t praise Todd and Alex enough. They made the entire day as easy as possible and really captured some fantastic memories from our special day. We would absolutely recommend Todd’s services to anyone else getting married.
Todd and his daughter photographed our wedding at the end of April and we couldn't be more happy with the pictures. They were professional, friendly and made us and our guests feel at ease. They were fantastic with our children and captured wonderful images of them and other guests' children playing. Photos to treasure for a lifetime and we can't recommend Todd enough.

Excellent photographer for our wedding today 2nd September 2020. Friendly effective and professional. Highly recommended. Thank you Todd.
“Throughout a very difficult couple of years, with numerous rearranged wedding dates, Todd was nothing short of amazing. Nothing was ever a problem and anything he could do to help, he did with ease. Todd's communication was outstanding under such difficult circumstances and I never had to be the first to reach out, as he was always one step ahead. I feel so lucky to have had Todd capture our wedding with such a relaxed and unstructured approach, whilst always remaining friendly and professional, he really was an extended part of our guest list. The photos were beautiful and something we will treasure forever. I continue to have people reach out to me asking who took our photos and telling us how lovely they are. All in all, I can't recommend Todd enough and if we ever need pictures taken in the future we will not hesitate to be in touch.
