Late summer for the wedding of Bradley & Kezia at the historic St Andrews Church Scole . I was introduced to the couple by an old friend of mine, and after an initial meeting the couple decided that we were photographers to capture their wedding day. After the ceremony at St Andrews the wedding guests made the short drive to the Star wing Brewery tap in nearby Redgrave, which apart from the obvious choice of craft beers turned out to be a fantastic venue! Late Autumn was the season for the wedding of Sam & Hannah at the stately Hengrave Hall, near Bury St Edmunds Suffolk. From the moment I arrived and took my camera from the bag Hannah was smiling, she was so excited for the day, and what a day it turned out to be! The threatening clouds did not give way to rain and we were so lucky to capture some beautiful moments in the grounds of the Hall. Following the wedding breakfast and speeches, the day soon turned into night and the evenings entertainment was provided by a disco and a sax player. A few images from a special day...

I first met Emily & Jake at a local wedding show, and they told me that they were planning a wedding at Woodhall Manor in Suffolk, I was familiar with the venue, but a return is always welcome as its one of my favourites. The day started off with a little light rain, which freshened up the atmosphere, but unfortunately ruled out an outdoor service, luckily for Jake & Emily Woodhall Manor has a contingency plan for the English weather and the couple tied the Knot inside the Hall. The skies soon gave way to brilliant sunshine and the guests enjoyed canapés drinks and live music in the gardens before a wedding breakfast and speeches. A beautiful evening followed with time spent in the grounds of the Hall for more photography and dancing to a live band. A few images from a special day...

The wedding of Elizabeth & Toby took place on a scorching day in June at Swynford Manor Suffolk. I had previously photographed the couple earlier in the year for an engagement shoot in Cambridge and I was very excited to be there for the wedding. The day albeit a hot one! went perfectly to plan, and Elizabeth looked beautiful walking down the aisle accompanied by her father. Toby kept his cool with a number of beers, and once the sun set the party really got going with the help of some amazing cocktails supplied by the very talented bar staff at Swynford. The wedding of Imogen & Sean took place on a very warm summer’s day at the impressive Hockwold Hall Suffolk. As I drove up the gravel drive to the hall the morning of the wedding the mist had already gave way to brilliant sunshine. A beautiful ceremony was held in the intimate gardens of the Hall in front of the Pergola, and the afternoon was spent catching up with friends & family on the lawns and gardens, before a wedding breakfast in the marquee. Following the speeches I was lucky to spend golden hour with the couple and some of the resident peacocks who grace the Hall with their presence. A live band took on the responsibility for the entertainment and kept everyone on the dance floor well into the early hours. A few images from a memorable day day...

After an initial meeting with Maddie & Jake we were thrilled to hear that they were planning on tying the knot in the Dordogne region of France. After a short flight to the regional airport of Brive-la-Gaillarde we had an overnight stay in a beautiful B&B before making our way to Château du Raysse on the morning of the wedding, needless to say we were blown away by the beautiful venue. Maddie & Jake had the perfect day, it really could not have been better A few images from a magical day...

We had the pleasure of meeting Jessy & Neil at a local wedding Fayre, and hit it off straight away. They outlined their vision for their day and we were thrilled that they chose us as their photographers. The day started with Jessy getting ready at her parent's house in Cambridge before transferring to South Farm. It was a beautiful autumn day, and the light was perfect. Jessy looked incredible walking down the aisle to Neil and the couple had a perfect day, with country dancing, rugby scrums and even the farm piglets putting in an appearance! Limoncello fuelled celebrations continued well into the night! "Todd and Bethany photographed our wedding at South Farm in October. They were great throughout the whole process. Listening to our requests and delivering AMAZING photos! Their family based business really made the experience personal. From meeting the whole family at a wedding fayre to Todd and his wife delivering the personalised memory stick to our house. We would highly recommend Todd and Bethany! We can't choose our favourite photos because they're all so amazing. Their candid style and attention to detail is outstanding" Neil Wakefield.

A local Suffolk wedding for Bettina & Macauley at the impressive Glemham Hall. I particularly like this venue as the drive from my home takes you through some beautiful Suffolk countryside. Coverage started in the hall where Bettina and her bridesmaids were preparing for the big day. And not so far away Macauley was doing the same, aided with a few liquid refreshments! The ceremony went off perfectly, and the confetti line led the guests out into the stunning gardens that Glemham hall has on show throughout the summer. Welcome Drinks, canapes and even a game of tennis was on offer in the afternoon before the wedding breakfast and speeches. Traditionally the groom is the one to receive a roasting, but on this occasion the brides father let everyone know of Bettina’s dealings as a child with a chimney, and the soot that covered her! The evening entertainment went on long into the night, and a perfect day was had by all. "Todd and Alex were absolutely amazing during our wedding day in August. They made us feel at ease and most of the time you did not know they were taking photographs, it made for some wonderful natural shots. We have had some lovely reviews of the photos from family and friends. We cannot choose a favourite photo as there are so many. Would give more than 5 stars if it was possible! Would highly recommend to any friends or family" Bettina Leeks

When Lydia contacted me to photograph her wedding to Matt I was absolutely thrilled to say the least. They are part of a friend group who I have had the pleasure to know and work with for the past 10 years, so I knew that I would be in for a great day. The wedding, Lidiya & Matt chose the beautiful village church of St Michaels at Hunston, Suffolk Lydia looked stunning and she arrived in real style accompanied by her father Simon in a soft top Lagonda. After the ceremony the wedding party descended on Haughley park for the reception and wedding breakfast. A beautiful day with plenty of sunshine, Haughley park made the perfect backdrop to a memorable day. Here are a few images from an extraordinary day…

I had a chance meeting with Jodie & James to begin this story, at the time I was hosting a black tie charity ball at Lynford Hall in aid of the St Nicholas Hospice Bury St Edmunds when Jodie introduced herself by my wife who knew her previously from her own charity work. Jodie explained that she was in the midst of planning a very unique affair, a music festival inspired wedding in the nearby village of Weeting. After outlining her vision for the day my face must have been a picture! thankfully I landed the gig of photography. The day of the wedding… The Sun was shining for Jodie, I remember arriving at her parents’ house which was a hive of activity, so many bridesmaids, flowers and wellie boots! When Jodie was ready she looked beautiful, a brilliant white dress and the perfect addition of flowers in the form of a bouquet and a flower crown in her hair, everyone looked very festival chic. Jodies father and James had put months of work into the preparations for the wedding, leading up to and including the morning of. when I arrived at the venue it blew me away, a miniature Glastonbury had indeed been created. Flags fluttered in the breeze and the wedding guests made their way through them to a Tee Pee centre stage surrounded by straw bales. The bridal party arrived together in style on a tractor and trailer. The ceremony was truly magical, and everyone enjoyed the day listening to music surrounded by food vendors and entertainers, The highlight of my day had to be photographing the couple crowd surfing into the sunset. Here are a few images from an extraordinary day…
